DESIGN OR DEFAULT?
There are two ways to live.
You can let the world tell you who you are,
or you can begin to show the world
who you've chosen to be.
You can wait for love before feeling loved,
for abundance before feeling free,
for the storm to pass before finding peace.
Or you can begin here,
in the very circumstances
you once believed must change.
But there's something
we must understand.
The parts of us that learned to fear
aren't persuaded by beautiful intentions.
They remember what happened.
They carry the old instructions.
They're still trying to keep us safe.
And so we turn toward them,
not to silence them,
but to listen.
Until the frightened places within us
discover they no longer have to
carry the whole of our lives.
And something opens.
We begin to meet the world
not only as it has been,
but as it might yet be.
This is the deeper art of manifestation.
Not waiting for reality
to give us permission to feel free.
But discovering freedom within,
and allowing our lives
to grow from there.
