Poem

the smallest yes

This is my personal site. UpSpiral is my company. Anything here that points you toward UpSpiral is me recommending my own work.

you need not become
happy

(not yet)

nor must you convince
the enormous dark
to become morning

just find

somewhere inside all this

one
small
yes

perhaps

a breath which hurts less
than the breath before

or some impossible little thought

(maybe)

and
do not underestimate
a maybe

because every universe
begins this way

not with certainty

but with an opening

and what you call
manifesting

might simply be

life finding the place
where you have stopped
saying no to it

so do not climb
the whole mountain

move one pebble

do not become
abundance

notice the sunlight
has been lying
all afternoon
across your floor

without charging you
anything

do not force joy

find the thought
which makes your heart
one feather lighter

then another

then

another

until somehow

(without quite knowing
when it happened)

you are no longer
trying to make
the world change

you have become

a little more
available

to the world
which was already

changing

toward you.

Have a GREAT week everyone. ☀️
